WELLINGTON Pétanque Club have entered two teams in the Devon League - Wellington and Monument.
In their most recent game against Mountbatten Sports which includes members from Ottery and Honiton, Wellington were represented by Sheila Phillips, Marion Jones, Maggie Milton, Jo Beer, Pauline Warden, Alison Newberry .
They won three out of eight games, hard fought, but pleasing as Mountbatten are a strong team.
On a rare dry, even warm day, everyone gave the games their best shot and hosted lunch at Wellington Bowling Club.
