WELLINGTON Squash and Racketball club’s first team played the second team in the return fixture of their division 3 clash in the Somerset Squash League on Monday.

The seconds were the home side on this occasion.

The first team was without Barry Bartram who had a slight tendon strain but new member James Wilkey came in to strengthen the squad.

The result was as follows with the 2nd team names first: David Thorne lost to Ian Jolley 17-15, 10-15, 4-15, 13-15; Simon Buttars lost to James Wilkey 5-15, 15-17, 10-15; Keith Dancey lost to Andrew Carpenter 13-15, 3-15, 8-15; Ed Barrett lost to Mike Broom 6-15, 9-15, 5-15; Peter Shaw lost to Tom Hendy 4-15, 6-15, 3-15.

The final score was Wellington 2nds 1 Wellington 1sts 18.

The first team do not have a game next week whilst the seconds are away against Street 2.
