WELLINGTON Wheelers’ end of season hill climb will be staged this Sunday (November 6).

The hill climb is an informal event, riding up Buckland Hill in West Buckland, which will be fully timed and marshalled. It is also free to enter.

The first rider will be off at 10:00 but all cyclists wishing to ride will need to be signed on, with a number, on the starting line for 9.50.

If you would like to participate please let Charles Biscoe know beforehand or, alternatively, you can sign-on the day.

If you are planning to do this, then we recommend you allow extra time before the race. The ride starts on the south side of the village on the motorway bridge, and goes all the way up Buckland Hill. There is a full route map available to view on the Wheelers’ website.

Hot drinks and bacon sandwiches will be available after everyone has completed the ride, and prizes will be awarded for the quickest hill climb times.

For more information please get in touch with Charles Biscoe ([email protected]) or via our website or Facebook page.
