THE KEY A358 road towards Minehead is reportedly closed near West Bagborough following a “serious” collision this afternoon (August 8).

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that emergency services are at the scene, and officers have closed the road between Combe Florey and the junction of New Road.

Motorists have been advised to seek alternative routes.

The police and ambulance services have been contacted for comment.
