WELLINGTON firefighters were among crews from six stations called to tackle a roof fire in Kentisbeare on Friday (January 10).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting a roof fire in a commercial property on Friday evening.
Crews confirmed the fire involved a barn conversion which was being used as a commercial workshop when they arrived at the scene.
Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform were initially sent, with a further two engines dispatched to assist in extinguishing the fire. Crews from six stations were in attendance, including those from Wellington and Cullompton.
A quarter of the roof was damaged by the fire and the cause of which is believed to be accidental.
