Wellington Spring Flower Show is returning next month after an enforced absence of two years.
The show will be held at Wellington Prep School in South Street on Saturday, April 2, from 2pm until about 4pm.
Show secretary Sheena Page said: “So many of you supported us with our online show last year and we were really grateful. However, nothing beats the real thing, in particular being able to enjoy the perfume of spring blooms. It really is something quite special.”
Classes will be on offer for cut flowers and potted bulbs and flowers, and the schedule is available online at www.wellingtonflowershow.co.uk and in the town library.

Opinion: Five pence sprouts are great, but spare a thought for your high streetSheena added: “Please have a go - you don’t need to have a garden, maybe just a pot of daffodils by your front door. There are even classes for a single bloom, so you don’t have to have ‘a host of golden daffodils’!”
Refreshments will be available and it is hoped to have a couple of plant stalls. Disabled visitors will be welcomed from 1.45pm and plenty of parking is available behind the school.
