THREE teenagers have been arrested after being caught in the grounds of Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington.

Police were called to the school in Courtland Road after receiving a call from a member of public about an overnight burglary at 7am on Sunday. PCSO Simon Bramley said: “Great work by the response teams this morning. Following an overnight burglary and criminal damage at Beech Grove School, three teenagers have been arrested.”

Police confirmed the young males, aged 13, 15 and 16, were arrested at the scene and all three have been released under investigation.
