A SUSPECTED drug driver was arrested in Rockwell Green on Saturday evening after tip-offs to the police from concerned residents.

A 50-year-old woman was stopped by police and later arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs and possession of a class A drug.

Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Officers made their way to the area and stopped a vehicle nearby.

“The woman has been released under investigation while further inquiries take place.

“Thank you to those who took the time to call the police and make us aware. Your help and support are very much appreciated.”
