POLICE have issued photographs of a man they are searching for in connection with an alleged fraud in a Culm Valley village.

The incident is believed to have happened on November 22 in a convenience store in the centre of Uffculme which also houses the village’s Post Office.

Devon and Cornwall Police said detectives were hoping the public could help them to identify the man, whom they want to talk to about a report of ‘fraud by false representation’.

A police spokesperson said: “We believe the man pictured may have information which could assist our investigation.

“If you know the man pictured or have any information which may help, please contact police by calling 101 or via our website quoting reference 50250300635.”
