THREE fire engines from both Wellington and Cullompton stations attended a blaze at a property near Burlescombe on Sunday, June 8.
The cause of the fire was reportedly "accidental".
At 3pm on the Sunday, fire control received a report of smoke coming from a property in the Westleigh area and immediately mobilised two fire engines from Wellington and one from Cullompton.
Avon and Somerset Police were also in attendance.
Shortly after arriving, crews confirmed that the first floor of the property was heavily smoke logged.
Breathing apparatus was used to rescue the occupants who were located within the ground floor of the property.
Devon and Somerset Fire Services reported that the fire had originated in the first-floor bedroom due to a boiler issue.
