Tributes have been paid to Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis’ step grandson who has died in a car crash.

Harry Brooksbank, 27, was killed when a black Ford Fiesta collided with a utility pole near the famous Worthy Farm in Pilton.

WHen emergency services were called he was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.

The collision happened on the A361 at Park Hill, Pilton last Friday (December 10).

Mr Brooksbank’s step-grandfather Mr Eavis has five children and 19 grandchildren.

The festival organiser’s second wife Jean, who died from cancer in 1999, is Mr Brooksbank’s grandmother.

The family said: "We are all heartbroken by the tragic loss of Harry, a wonderful warm, fun loving son and brother.

’’We will miss him dreadfully. We would like to thank everyone for their love and support."

Investigations into the collision continue.

Anyone who travelled along the A361 at about 2am, who saw the Fiesta before the collision, or who may have dashcam footage which could help the investigation is asked to call 101 and give the reference 5221289527.
