STORM Chandra has hit Somerset causing travel disruption, flooding and school closures.
The Met Office, which has named the storm, said Chandra would arrive with another deluge of rain and wind — which it certainly delivered on - leading to flooding and disruption across Wellington and beyond.
The Met Office has issued a number of weather warnings for the South West, with both amber and yellow warnings in place for rain as well as a yellow weather warning for wind.
As a result three schools in Wellington have delayed opening, the A38 in Wellington is impassable and buses between Wellington and Taunton suspended.
