Milverton Concert Society continues its spring season of professional concerts with a new ensemble, Metamorphoses, who will serve up a not often heard combination of clarinet, viola and piano.

The programme includes two of the ‘landmark’ pieces written for this ensemble, Mozart’s beautiful ‘Kegelstatt’ trio and the witty and fiendishly difficult Trio by Jean Francaix.

The trio (pictured) have been commended for their outstanding artistry and their performances have been described as ‘sincere, imaginative and fresh as paint’.

The Metamorphoses Trio are performing at Milverton Church on Friday, April 1, at 7.30pm.
