Young people learned about the dangers of substance abuse when the ’drugs bus’ pulled up in Wellington High Street last week.

The bus is run by Resilience Voyage and employs staff trained in youth work, including drug prevention.

The dark and dingy area upstairs, designed to represent a drugs den, is a discussion space where substance misuse, knife crime, county lines, mental health and offending are examined.

The downstairs area has replica prison cells where youngsters have to solve puzzles and clues relating to substance misuse to be released.
