PUPILS from Wellington School and their families delivered around 50 Christmas hampers to local families.

The hampers were delivered to the Best Before Food Store at The Well Church in Rockwell Green.

The Food Store currently supports 35 families in Wellington each week with fresh and ambient food at a minimal membership fee, as well as providing a cafe-style social space for meeting friends, with activities and games.

In addition to the hampers, pupils’ families at the Junior School provided 26 bags of goodies for the families.

With the extra donations this year, the pupils from Wellington School were able to support many more families in the town with much needed goodies.
