BACK in Wellington by popular demand on Sunday (December 21) and promising a fantastic two hours of jazz and swing will be the Tone Big Band.
The band are returning to Wellington Arts Centre for a lunchtime production with a bar and room to dance if the fancy takes you from 12 noon to 2 pm.
Under the direction of Nick Brace, the band played at the arts centre in September this year to a packed house and are back to share some more toe tapping tunes.
Entrance is free with a donation bucket at the end which will be split between the band.
Spokeswoman Nancy Powell-Brace said the afternoon would include music from early swing to the modern era, with some seasonal tunes thrown in.
