CHILDREN in Year 5 in Tawny Owl class at Rockwell Green Primary School enjoyed a brilliant beginning to their new learning theme of the Ancient Greeks. The period in history was brought to life with a whole-day workshop with Portals to the Past. The day included solving Archimedes puzzles, dressing up in costume, taking part in a quiz and a mini-Olympics.

A spokesperson for the school said: “Great fun was had by all.”
