SPACE science educator Jo Richardson will be helping families explore the wonders of the night sky at an event at Burlescombe and Westleigh Community Hall.

The event will see visitors take a look at star constellations, learn how to orientate themselves as amateur astronomers and, if the skies are clear, do some real stargazing.

Jo Richardson is a UK Space Ambassador currently working on the official Tim Peake mission working for both the European and UK Space Agencies. Most recently she has become involved with the International Lunar Mission One, working as part of its international educational team.

Pete Richardson, twice finalist in the International Astrophotographer of the Year, will be exhibiting his work and giving a short talk.
