FINAL preparations are being made for this weekend’s Angersleigh Church Fair – a traditional country fete offering an afternoon of fun and entertainment for all the family.

All the usual stalls and sideshows, games and activities for children are on offer including a giant inflatable Monkey Mayhem slide, pony rides and ice creams.

The fair on Saturday (July 14) will be opened at 2.30pm by local MP Rebecca Pow.

Home-made teas, a coconut shy, a small display of classic cars, a raffle and a Pimm’s tent are also among the attractions.

Stalls include books, bottles, cakes, children’s toys, glamorous bits and bobs, new to you, plants and produce. Charlie Hearnshaw’s jazz duo will provide live music throughout the afternoon.

The fair is at Angersleigh (TA3 7SY). Plenty of parking space is available and parking and entry are free.

Organisers ask that visitors do not bring their dogs, unless they are assistance dogs. If the weather is very wet the fair will be held at Lowton Manor (TA3 7SX).

All money raised will go towards the upkeep and repairs of the small and much loved St Michael and All Angels Church in Angersleigh.
