FOUR Wellington School students have been accepted to join the prestigious National Youth Theatre.
Claire Davies, director of drama at Wellington School, said: “We are incredibly proud to announce that four talented students from Wellington School have been accepted into the National Youth Theatre, following in the footsteps of esteemed Old Wellingtonian Sir David Suchet.
“Congratulations to Bea (Year 11), Amy (Year 10), Eva and Lillian (Year 9).”
The girls join 16 other Wellingtonians who gained entry through school-based auditions, facilitated by the drama department.
For nearly 70 years, the National Youth Theatre has worked to provide world-class training and performance opportunities to young actors and artists, with alumni including Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, and Florence Pugh.
