Fitness instructor Anne Panesar is set to bring back Active Ageing indoor exercise classes to Wellington Rugby Club.
The classes will help older men and women be active and healthy, and provide a social fun outlet.
The classes at the rugby club are on Friday afternoon (1.30-2.30pm) with the first class tomorrow (Friday) following the expected move to step 3 of the Government’s roadmap out of Covid-19 lockdown.
In addition, a new morning class will be starting on Tuesday, June 22, (10-11am).
The active ageing exercise programme works on improving balance, flexibility, strength and heart and lung health in a safe yet fun environment.
It is also suitable for any adult wanting to return to exercise in a low impact way.
All government and fitness industry guidelines will be followed to ensure the activity is Covid safe.
