PEOPLE are being invited to show their support for the Armed Forces at services being held by Somerset West and Taunton council on Monday, June 24.
The council is holding two ceremonies to mark Armed Forces Day this year, both starting at 11am.
The service at Deane House, Taunton, will be hosted by the Mayor of Taunton, Cllr Francesca Smith.
The service at West Somerset House, Williton, will be hosted by the chairman of Somerset West and Taunton Council, Cllr Hazel Prior-Sankey.
The Armed Forces Day flag will be raised during the short ceremonies and will be flown for the week leading up to Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29 June.
