Children at Langford Budville Primary School have taken delivery of a distinctive new school sign designed and painted by local artist Liz Hutchin.

Special meeting of Wiveliscombe councillors to look again at town centre parkingHead of school Jane Major, a former colleague of Mrs Hutchin, said: “This bespoke piece of art links key features of our school - the children, the church, our ‘swift’ symbol and the countryside.
“We wanted something different that complemented our new perimeter railings and this fits the bill perfectly.
“The children were very excited to meet Liz and enjoyed deciding which of our children looked like the little people on the sign.”
