A recent major refurbishment of Lloyds Bank in Fore Street, Wellington, including the installation of an internal lift, eliminated the need for a removable disability ramp which was laid over the external entrance steps.
Now the bank has given the unit to Wellington Stroke Club for use on the club’s bus.
Don McCririck, deputy chairman of the charity, said: “We cannot thank Paul, Jayne, Nikki and all their colleagues within the branch enough for their generosity to our club and its members.
“The ramp will be put to good use within the social and welfare activities of our club.”
