House manager of Abbeyfield’s Ivy House in Corams Lane, Wellington, Alisha Cordy invited Wellington Beavers to sing Christmas carols to residents last week.

Ivy House was presented with a table arrangement the youngsters had made especially for residents, which was proudly put on show in the communal lounge.

Alisha said: “The Beavers were all so well behaved and we were even treated to a couple of solos from one of the Beavers leaders! The residents thoroughly enjoyed the evening, which ended with mince pies and tea.”
