PUPILS in Years 3 and 4 at Sampford Arundel Primary School have decorated this special Friendship Bench during PSHE sessions focusing on ‘getting on and falling out’.

They chose to use the colours of the rainbow to link feelings of sadness when they had fallen out with someone with the sunshine brought by the rainbow mirroring their happiness when they made friends again.

Their bench has become a popular and colourful addition to the playground at the school.
