Over the last two years Mike Perry and Ray Hitchcock have published their research into the biographies of people named on Wellington’s war memorial in the town’s park.

They originally produced two books – Our Boys covering the First World War names and Our WW2 Boys (and a Girl) for the names from the Second World War.

Then followed a third publication, Our Other Boys, containing biographies of local men who were casualties of the First World War but, for one reason or another, are not included on the war memorial.

Mike and Ray have now expanded Our Other Boys into a second edition. This new edition includes details of those local men who died as a result of their service in the Second World War but, again, not listed on the war memorial.

Our Other Boys, second edition, is now available from H T Perry’’s hardware shop in Fore Street price £3.25.
