THE New Life Foundation/Sam’s Legacy charity, which provides equipment for disabled children, received a cheque for £400 after Hemyock Short Mat Bowls Club held a tournament at the parish

hall which included other local clubs.

Nick and Nicky Allen, whose son Sam benefited from help when he was very poorly, received the cheque.
