A DYING Wellington mum suffering from incurable breast cancer has chosen to tell the story of her two-year ordeal to highlight that the disease doesn't just happen to old people.
Naomi Bircham, 29, has told how her nightmare started in 2009 when she felt a lump in her right breast which turned out to be cancerous.
Since then, with the support of partner Graham, she has undergone painful and debilitating therapy and was diagnosed with a further massive tumour at the base of her spine last year.
She has also given birth to son Devon Joel, now one.
She told the WWN: "Cancer is not going to stop me. I'm putting all my efforts into charity work."
Read the first part of Naomi's inspiring story only in today's WWN.
