Wellington railway station housing development could see more homes addedThey were given the opportunity to try tumbling, balances, floor work, vaulting and partner routines at the Excelsior Athletic Development Club at Court Fields School.
Head coach James Marshall said: “It was great to see the boys and girls overcome their initial hesitancy and get stuck in. Many children think they have missed their chance at gymnastics, or lack confidence, and so we keep giving chances to children who want to learn some mad skills, without getting forced into competition.”
The class had six boys and six girls, reflecting the overall membership of the club.
Excelsior ADC runs gymnastics sessions at Court Fields on Wednesday afternoons.
