BOVIS Homes is asking potential buyers to register their interest in more than 200 homes it will build on land west of Bagley Road in Rockwell Green on a site it is calling Blackdown View.

The company says the site will offer three-, four- and five-bedroom homes suitable for first-time buyers, families and those looking to down-size. The development will also include a central, open green space.

To promote sustainable travel in the area, Bovis will provide Blackdown View residents with travel vouchers when they move in. These can be utilised from the new bus stop the company will fund as part of the building work, making the location more accessible.

Emma Smith, regional sales and marketing director at Bovis Homes, said: “The location has excellent connections to the M5 while also boasting lovely rural views of the Blackdown Hills and Quantock Hills, providing a scenic setting for residents. The town also offers plenty of amenities including independent shops, excellent schools and a supermarket nearby. There is a museum and a unique 1930s cinema in Wellington too.”
