BUILDERS’ merchant RGB Plumbing and Heating Supplies, which has a branch in Wellington, is offering £1,000 of supplies to help a charity, group or school.
The firm’s Well Built Community Fund helps good causes from across the region finance projects they would otherwise be unable to complete.
For its next giveaway, RGB is offering £1,000 to help transform a kitchen or bathroom area.
Perhaps a school would like to update its kitchen cupboards, or add new appliances to a teaching space, or a community centre would like to create an inclusive bathroom area. Whatever the project, RGB would like to hear how groups in the local area would use the donation.
The builders merchant will then select three finalists from all the nominations received and the public will be invited to vote for who they would like to receive the £1,000 donation.
Ed Hegarty, branch manager at RGB Wellington, said:
“Kitchens and bathrooms are often essential spaces for many community-focused groups, so we’re delighted to be able to assist with a project and look forward to hearing how people would use the donation.”
To apply for £1,000 to spend at an RGB branch, groups, charities and schools simply need to email [email protected] explaining how a donation will help transform a kitchen or bathroom area.
Nominations can also be posted to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Sunday, October 27.
Until February 2020, RGB will also be inviting groups to apply for £1,000 worth of tools and building materials, and timber and landscaping products.
Terms and conditions and further information about the different categories being supported by the Community Fund can be found on RGB’s website.
