SHEPPY’S at Bradford-on-Tone has won another award – best Westcountry-style cider at the International Cider Challenge.

It was the only UK cider-maker to take home an award, with its Vintage Reserve Cider being the judges’ choice.

Sheppy’s history goes back more than 200 years and under David Sheppy, its sixth generation Master of Cider, continues to champion the same traditional methods.

He said: “Our winning Vintage Reserve Cider is created from a blend of the best varieties of Somerset cider apples and the latest addition to our awards collection is testament to the skills we have been passing from generation to generation over the last 200 years of Sheppy’s Cider.”

The winning Vintage Reserve Cider is produced from entirely home-grown apples and is a blend of one year’s harvest of the highest quality bittersweet varieties.
