YOUNG people from Wellington are being asked for their views on public transport.

An online survey has been launched by local MP, Gideon Amos, with the support of James Lawson, one of Somerset’s representatives at the national Youth Parliament.

Mr Amos said: “Young people are an extremely important demographic of people who rely on public transport.

“That is why I want to know their views on what is working for them and, more importantly, what isn’t.

“We’ll be collating all the information into a report which we will then take to transport operators and local authorities as part of our drive for improvements in line with people's wishes and needs.”

Young people can ask for a copy of the survey at their school office or email [email protected]
