POTTER’S butchers in Fore Street, Wellington, enjoyed great success at the National Craft Butchers Competition at Eastwood in Nottingham.

It entered eight products, including sausages and burgers, and won seven golds and one silver.

The butcher, which also had success at Sedgemoor Winter Fair, also walked away with Best Burger on the day – Beef, Horseradish & Red Onion – and Won Best Specialty Sausage with its Fruity Curry Pork Sausage.

The awards mean Potter’s has now qualified to enter the Champion of Champions competition at County Hall in London later this year.
