THE Popham Court care home in Wellington has been forced to cancel three events this week.

It has had to cancel a memorial service on Tuesday, an open day tomorrow (Friday) and a summer fete on Saturday.

Popham Court has been affected by a diarrhoea and vomiting virus, and is closed to visitors at the moment.

Popham House remains open. It is planned to reschedule the summer fete.
