MEMBERS of staff at Wellington House have made it through to the regional semi-finals of the Great British Care Awards.

Carly Orzechowski, who is in the running for the best newcomer award, has been with Wellington House for two years.

Sharon Rowswell, unit manager at Wellington House for 18 months, is through to the semi-finals for outstanding frontline leader. And the whole care team have made it through to best care team.

They have completed their interviews in Bristol and will find out the results at the award ceremony at the Marriott Hotel Bristol on November 25 where they will face competition from across South-West England and South Wales.

The winners and runners-up will go on to the national awards in London next March.
