MISSING cat Min Ki (pictured) has been reunited with his owner – with a little help from the Wellington Weekly News.

Lianne Mollentze appealed for help finding Min Ki last week after the cat, who is mainly kept indoors and she described as not very streetwise, escaped from her Wellington home.

Lianne had about 20 phone calls after the story and picture were published, reporting sightings, many in Churchfields, behind the petrol station.

Lianne, a volunteer for the Cats’ Protection charity, said: “I am absolutely thrilled – the cat is my world. It has restored my faith in human nature.”
