CAT lover David Manners is planning to abseil 100ft down a cliff on Sunday to help two kittens.

David, volunteer branch co-ordinator at the Wellington branch of Cats Protection, is performing the abseil at Uphill Quarry, Weston-Super-Mare.

Tiny kittens Fidget and Widget (pictured) came into Cats Protection’s care at two days old after their mother rejected them. But despite time consuming and costly care, at the age of eight weeks, they are not as robust as they should be.
