Her association with Millway Chapel began in 1926 when she became a Sunday school teacher.
She married Percy Warren, who was born in Rockwell Green, in January, 1939. During their 56 years together they were involved in the Sunday School, where Percy was a teacher and then Superintendent. They led the popular Bright Hour and following this, a successful youth club.
Many people from Wellington and the surrounding area will remember being a member of one of these groups.
Until late in life she did her own shopping, often refusing a lift when the weather was bad.
