WELLINGTON Town Council is holding a civic service at St John the Baptist Church on Sunday at 4pm.

And town Mayor Cllr Bob Bowrah is extending an invitation to all residents of Wellington to attend.

The service will be a songs of praise with hymns and prayers for harvest, celebrating all that is produced in Wellington.

Cllr Bowrah hopes that as many clubs, societies, organisations and individuals as possible will be able to attend. Rev Tim Treanor will take the service.

After the service refreshments will be available in the Church Hall.
