BRAVE Mark Renwick, from Wellington, has had his head shaved to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.

He had the sponsored haircut at Charlie Brown’s in Lancer Court in the town – and the salon gave him £100 for the charity.

Friends and fellow Wellingtonians Rebecca Hine, Kelly Norman and Charlotte Bellamy will be climbing Britain’s highest peak in the Ben Nevis Breast Cancer Challenge on Saturday.

Mark, 37, from Weavers Reach, ran the Taunton Half-Marathon in April with wife Stef to raise money for the cause and has coined in nearly £400.

The team have also done car boot sales and received donations from friends in a ten-month fundraising campaign – a sponsorship form is available at the salon for anyone who wants to help them achieve their £1,500 target.

Anyone who wants to give can also visit the Just Giving page at http://www.justgiving.com/Kelly-Norman2?utm_id=27
