THE unveiling of a community quilt was the highlight of the fun-filled Hillfarrance Festival and Fete.
Some 39 people from the area contributed an eight-inch square, the contributors ranging in age from 11 to over 80 and including men as well as women. The quilt, themed around the village and the local countryside, was pieced and quilted by Christine Hudd.

The festival and fete raised £1,291.45 for Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and £125 for the village church.
