DOZENS of children enjoyed an action-packed few days at the annual Big Tent holiday club held in Wellington last week for the fourth time.
The club, run by Wellington’s churches for primary school aged children, took place in a large marquee on Wellesley Park School’s sports field from Tuesday to Thursday.
This year’s theme was Cops and Robbers and about 80 children joined in the fun with a programme of games, competitions, songs, videos and craft activities while exploring the story of Bible-hero Joseph and themes such as freedom and forgiveness.
It was a fun event with more reflective moments thrown in along the way.
