WELLINGTON Town Council is backing protesters who are fighting plans to build 100s of houses at Jurston Farm Wellington.

The council held a special meeting at the United Reformed Church hall in Fore Street which was attended by about 75 members of the public, and more than 20 addressed the meeting.
