COURT Fields School in Wellington supported World Down’s Syndrome Day by raising money for Ups and Downs, a local charity that supports young people with Down’s.

The whole school took part in several events including a cake sale and chocolate raffle, and by

wearing jazzy/colourful socks to school.

Lyn Hopkins spearheaded the event, with the help of Katie O’Connor, Molly James-Stock and Anita Seabourne, who also produced presentations that were shared in tutor time to raise awareness of Down’s Syndrome among students.

Due to their hard work and the generosity of students, nearly £270 was raised for the charity.
