HUNDREDS of students at Court Fields School in Wellington were taken out of school for a day to enjoy a reward trip to recognise their great attitude and commitment to learning.

Some students also enjoyed fun on massive inflatables at school and 15 students were rewarded with gift vouchers in a random prize draw.

The school introduced an online system of praise points for students who always perform well or go the extra mile in their efforts to be the best they can be.

Headteacher Rachael Bennett said: “All students receive praise points for their achievement and commitment to their learning, for always upholding our school ethos and rules, and for participating in extra -curricular activities.

“Students are extremely motivated by our E-Praise system which is reflected in the superb number of students who earned the right to a treat by accumulating so many points.”

Students went to Air Hop or Crealy and had a great time with their friends and staff who enjoyed the informal and relaxed opportunity to have fun on all the activities.

Ms Bennett added: “I think the staff enjoyed themselves as much as the students as they whizzed down the slides at Crealy, much to our students delight”.
