ART and craft lovers flocked to Nynehead Court when the home hosted a craft fair.

Stalls sold crafts ranging from jewellery to silk-painted goods and wooden crafts. Visitors also had the chance to try out their clay skills at the newly opened Stable Arts.

The event raised £487, which will be donated to Somerset-based charity Art Care Education (ACE). It will support ACE’s outreach programme of supporting art and craft sessions in the community and in care settings.

Nynehead Court director Alyson Martin said: “We were fortunate in having good weather and have received some lovely feedback about the day – people really seemed to have enjoyed the event.

“We are planning a number of workshops at Stable Arts as well as at Nynehead Court, and full details of these are available on our Facebook page.”
