TWO community-based projects in Wellington are to benefit from the proceeds of crime.
Dreamscheme, a community based scheme for eight to 16-year-olds, and 'No cold calling' zones in the town will get help after criminals were stripped of their ill-gotten gains.
Under the Proceeds of Crime Act, 34 schemes, spread across the Avon and Somerset Police's six districts, will receive a share of £30,500.
The cash boost has come from money clawed back by the force following successful confiscation orders confirmed at courts in the force area against convicted criminals.
