PASSERS-BY outside the Methodist Church in Waterloo Road, Wellington, on Easter Sunday will see a colourful cross made from old Christmas trees and decorated with flowers.

Then on Easter Sunday it is covered with chicken wire and decorated with multi-coloured flowers to symbolise the resurrection.
At the end of the service the cross is placed outside the church on the road.
